FinTech, Educators, NGOs: Get a Sponsorship from Stellar.org

Sponsorship Program Launches Along with New Judges and Prizes for the Stellar Build Challenge

If you are a FinTech startup, educate developers, or represent an NGO, sponsorships (in the forms of lumens) are now available from the Stellar Development Foundation.

Our goal is to support new products and ideas. If you are enabling that goal via a technical product or process, you are likely a good fit.

If your application is approved, you’ll receive a batch of “Invites” you can send to your students or colleagues.

They will receive invitations from Stellar.org to claim 2500 lumens via email.

New Categories + Judges for the Stellar Build Challenge

Along with the launch of the Sponsorship program comes the call for entries to the next round of the Stellar Build Challenge, a contest to reward innovation and development in the Stellar ecosystem.

  1. This round features a new judge, James Gong from chainb in China.
  2. Judges will be allotted a set amount of lumens to award per category as they see fit.
  3. “Tutorials” is a new category, and the judges are looking to award prizes for new documentation, blog posts, screencasts, and talks about the Stellar network.

We’ve listed a number of protips and links to open-sourced code on the Build Challenge site.
